Summary

An oval box with slightly concave sides and a plain brass mount with a lid hinged at the narrow end with a mirror inside (tarnished). Enamel on metal and painted on the lid with a girl in a purple dress with a white lace collar and red sash holding a basket of roses upon her head, above which is the inscription 'Roses Ho', on a white ground. The sides of the box are green.
