Summary

An oval box with slightly concave sides, a plain metal mount and a hinged lid with a steel mirror (tarnished) inside. Enamel on metal and transfer printed on the lid in sepia with a scene of a dog lapping up milk which a boy has spilt from a broken jug whilst a girl holding a flute looks on, on a light blue ground. The body of the box is light blue.
