tea caddy

tea caddy

Summary

Oblong tea caddy with metal mounts to the base and top, with a slight handle and a lid hinging on the narrow side. Enamel on metal and painted in colours on the lid and sides with five oval panels of landscapes within borders of blue dots, both caddies are painted with the same scenes except on the lid where one has a scene of a man driving a cow across a bridge and the other one of a man fishing. In the four corners of the lid and each of the sides is a spray of flowers direct on the white ground.
