Summary

Finely thrown tea cup on narrow footring, applied ribbed loop handle with leafy terminals. Upper body dipped in mid-blue slip, turned to give two blue horizontal bands against a white ground. Lower body dipped in yellow ochre slip, turned to give vertical ochre stripes against a white ground. Deep saucer with curved sides and tapered footring, decorated with similar slip-dipped and turned pattern of two bands in ochre and blue round cup well, surrounded by wide band of vertical blue stripes.
