Summary
Cylindrical mug with inverted foot and plain loop handle. Painted on either side of handle with two small landscapes, each of two trees in brown and green surrounded by birds in flight. On opposite side to handle, a monogram of the initials RL in brown copperplate script with small brown buds growing out of the letters, contained within a circular border of alternating yellow ochre and cobalt blue simple husks. Simple border of blue and ochre shapes round rim, suspended from a plain brown band. Brown band repeated round lower body beneath handle terminal, back of handle picked out in brown.
