Summary

Combined etui and spy glass. A cylindrical case with a long cap with a metal rim sliding on an inner metal sleeve, the ends are fitted with two screw on chased metal caps with sliding metal shutters revealing a spy hole fitted with glass. Enamel on metal and painted in colours with three landscape panels - one on the cap and two on the body - all within scroll borders of raised white enamel on a pink ground decorated with scrolls and grouped dots in raised white enamel. Inside are a knife with a brass handle, a metal bodkin and a metal stiletto.
