Summary

Public: A cylindrical case with a long cap with a metal rim sliding on an inner metal sleeve, the cap is modelled as a bust of a lady and the body fluted spirally. Enamelled on metal and painted on the cap as a lady wearing a red head scarf, green dress and black shawl, the body is painted with two reds hearts within a ribbon bearing the inscription all on a white ground. Private: A cylindrical case with a long cap with a metal rim sliding on an inner metal sleeve, the cap is modelled as a bust of a lady and the body fluted spirally. Enamelled on metal and painted in colours on the cap as a lady wearing a red scarf over her head and wearing a green dress with a black and white shawl over her shoulders on a white ground with a spray of flowers on the back near the rim. The bottom half is painted with two hearts in red enclosed by feather and plume patterns in yellow, green and blue and bordered by a ribbon inscribed 'Saignent pour vous', at the back of this is a vertical spray of flowers all on a white ground.
