Summary

Rectangular box on four narrow quarter-circle feet, edged in brown. Shallow domed rectangular cover with ornate loop handle at centre in the form of a curling acanthus frond picked out in brown. Sides of box painted with continuous leafy border in brown and green with blue and ochre flowers, border repeated round upper surface of box cover. Plain brown bands to base of box and base of cover. Pearlware glaze, pooling blue at box edges.
