Summary
Cylindrical tankard with tapering neck, and strap loop handle with pinched lower terminal. Greyish white body with 'scratch-blue' decoration around sides of incised undulating stems of simple flowers filled in with a fluid blue wash. Applied medallion to side opposite handle, relief-moulded with right side portrait bust of George III flanked by royal cipher 'G / R'. Lathe-turned bands above below, picked out in blue.
