Summary
Conical jug with slight ogee bulge at upper body tapering to inverted foot, with shanked spiralled sides, sparrow beak lip and ribbed loop handle. Painted with plain brown bands inside and outside rim, a simple festoon border of leaves and dots in yellow ochre, green and blue beneath outer brown band. Plain brown band round lower body just above handle terminal, back of handle picked out in a blue herringbone pattern.
