Summary

Public: Circular plaque made of white earthenware, relief-moulded with a bird on a cherry branch laden with fruit, picked out in green, brown and yellow ochre beneath a pearlware glaze. Private: Uneven circular plaque with relief-moulded frame edged in brown, and two pierced holes at the top for hanging. Relief-moulded with a bird, painted in brown and yellow ochre, perched on a cherry tree branch heavy with three ochre cherries and three green leaves. The bird, a type of finch, leans forward to snatch an ochre fly from the air to the right. Pearlware blue glaze.
