Public: A cylindrical case rounded at both ends with a deep screw top lid in a plain metal mount; inside is a glass bottle with a stopper. Enamel on metal and painted in colours with four panels of pastoral scenes within gilt scroll borders on a turquoise-green ground decorated with scrolls and rosettes in gold. Private: A cylindrical case rounded at both ends with a deep screw top lid in a plain metal mount; contains a glass bottle with a glass stopper. Enamel on metal and painted in colours with four panels of pastoral scenes; two on the body of a house and tree in front of which sit two sheep and a figure with a rod walking behind a mound in front of which sit two sheep and two on the lid of two sheep sitting before a pyramidal monument and two sheep sitting before a mound with a tree on top. All the panels are within gilt scroll borders on a turquoise-green ground decorated with scrolls and rosettes in gold.
