White enamelled on metal and printed in sepia on the outside with a scene of Laocoon and the Trojan Horse which shows Laocoon about to throw a spear at the horse which is seen in the middle ground with armed figures to the left and right. On the inside is a portrait of a gentleman (Henry Boyle or Robert Walpole?) looking to the left and wearing a long curled wig and lace cravat.
