Summary

A double salt cellar, of wavy form with horizontally fluted sides and two wells in the top. Enamel on metal and painted in colours round the sides with four panels of pastoral landscapes; all similar with male figures, sheep, a cow, a dog, fishing and trees. All panels are in raised gilt scroll borders on a pink ground decorated with four white stars in gilt scroll borders, gilt scrolls and foliage in gold. The two wells are edged with borders of gilt scrolls.
