Summary

An oval box moulded in high relief with a hinged lid/base within a metal mount with a rope handle. Enamel on metal with the body moulded and painted in colours with a selection of arms, including a suit of armour, drum, sword, rifle, pennants and cannon balls; the rim of the body is painted with a continuous spray of flowers all on a grey ground. The lid/base is painted in colours with a spray of flowers on a white ground.
