Summary

Public: Part miniature coffee service, white earthenware, comprising coffee pot, five coffee cups (no saucers) and one footed sugar bowl, printed underglaze in black with Chinese landscapes. Private: Pear shaped coffee pot on wide footring, with loop handle and curved spout, high domed lid with pierced spherical finial. Five coffee cups, each on wide footring, with large plain loop handle. Wide deep sugar bowl on turned spreading foot. All pieces transfer-printed underglaze with 'Willow' type Chinoiserie landscape scenes, including pagodas, rivers, bridges, small houses and fishing boats. Ornate scroll and diaper borders to rims, rim edges painted in yellow ochre enamel.
