Summary

Cream satin, chiffon and bead embroidered net. Bodice mounted on stiff, petersham band, fastening at back, net underslip with ribbon straps. Loose chiffon with cross-over draping at front and v-shaped back falling over shoulders to form short sleeves. Front panel of net embroidered in glass beads and small sequins. 'Hobble' skirt, front slightly split and rounded at hem. Short tunic of bead and spangle embroidered net from waist. Sash of chine satin ribbon in blue and white stripe and coloured floral pattern and lace. Central medallion of lace in front with ribbon passing over shoulders and round waist. Finished at back with lace sections and silk-fringed bow.
