Summary

Broad globular cup curving in to wide flat foot, with wide neck and everted rim. Narrow strap loop handle to bowl. Bowl coated with white slip and decorated with a series of narrow horizontal dark red bands around sides, feathered vertically to give an erratic marbled pattern. The neck decorated with a single row of large dark red slip spots, unevenly spaced and bleeding slightly into lead glaze, through which buff body apppears pale yellow.
