Summary

Purple satin figured in grey silk in fern-like sprays. Lined with purple cotton, with hem and flounce of poplin. Bodice boned at waist. Wrap over fastening to left shoulder and side with separate fastening in the lining down the centre. Inner waistband. Short sleeves trimmed with lace. Deep lace collar at neck with purple velvet bow at centre front. Skirt in one with bodice, trained. Padded hem.
