Summary

White muslin embroidered in white with small sprig worked in chain stitch, trimmed with bobbin lace (East Midlands). Wide square neck. Centre back opening with drawstring at neck and waist. Long sleeves. Skirt slightly gathered at front, closely gathered at back, sides overlapping. Slit in side seams. Bodice front trimmed with lace, sleeves edged with narrow border of lace.
