Bobbin lace. Early Flemish bobbin lace with a lumpy, rather clumsy design of a zig-zagging toile briad and flowerhead with areas of a torchon net and bud fillings. Motifs are joined with a series of irregular plaited brides. With a pointed picoted heading.
