White cotton. High round neck, with narrow embroidered band edged with piping and lace frill. Pointed waistline. Very low neckline edged with scalloped openwork. Neckline not attached to dress. Centre back fastening. Drawstring on neckband. Long sleeves with lace-edged wrists. Skirt gathered to bodice, trimmed with three flounces and headed with piping and woven gauze stripes.
