Summary

Blue silk. Two piece. Bodice lined with white cotton, skirt and overskirt with stiffened muslin. Front fastening to high round neck with glass buttons. Long sleeves with wide ruched band at wrist trimmed with glass buttons and net frill. Separate skirt pleated to bodice at sides, gathered at back, fastening left front. Rings inside for drawing up skirt. Separate overskirt pleated to waist, fastening centre back. Waist and hem embroidered with pearl buttons and edged with white lace, decoration also down centre front.
