Summary

Evening outfit in black crepe woven with openwork stripes over black satin. Two piece. Bodice lined with brown cotton satin. Front fastening. Low square neck with black silk drawstring trimmed with gathered black chiffon band, black satin rosette back and front neck. Hem trimmed with black satin ribbon, held in fold. Two rosettes centre back and centre front, extended by satin streamers. Short sleeves interlined with black silk and stiffening, huge puff on shoulder, trimmed with chiffon and pleats. Two eyes to attach skirt at back. Separate skirt lined with charcoal cotton satin, fastening left back. One elastic stay and pair of ties. Back of part of front faced with horsehair.
