Summary

Perfume bottle press-moulded in the form of a book with wavy rouletted lines indicating page edges interrupted by small circular hole for the stopper. Small screw-in stopper with broken finial. The book cover is decorated with rouletted wavy lines to front and back comprising four intersecting lines within rectangular border giving eight right-angled triangles, each is stamped with small circle. Lines and circles then inlaid with iron-brown slip in 'scratch-brown' technique. the book spine is decorated with two crosses of diagonal wavy lines interrupted by groups of horizontal lines, all filled with brown slip.
