Summary

Thrown globular punch pot tapering to flat foot, with crabstock handle and spout, and turned ribbing at neck rim. Body decorated with stamped relief vines embellished with large sprigged leaves and fruits, three birds and two cherubs scattered amongst the leaves. Circular cover, slightly domed, with crabstock handle, turned ribbing around rim, and stamped and sprigged reliefs of vine tendrils, leaves and fruit. Small hole pierced in centre beneath handle. Cover slightly too large for pot.
