Summary
Thrown globular teapot, with short straight neck and three applied feet in the form of a claw and ball surmounted by a scallop shell. Short tapering fluted spout, plain loop handle tapering toward lower terminal. Each side of body decorated with applied stamped reliefs in drab stoneware picked out in cobalt blue, comprising simple flowering plants, with three heavy blooms on one side, two blooms and small bird on the other. Small flat circular cover with turned acorn shaped finial, small pierced hole to one side, and three applied stamped reliefs in blue, comprising leaf, scroll and ornamental flowerhead.
