Summary

Cream bobbin lace. Narrow straight front section of cream muslin. Pleated net frills at front edge. Edged with bobbin lace and silk ribbons which are mounted on net behing frills and sewn into pleats. A pleated net and lace frill behind this. Main section of cap formed of diagonal lace insertions sewn together and joined to front section with lace insertion. Drawstring at back of neck. Cap is gathered at circular lace back section which has inserted diamond-shaped piece of muslin with openwork embroidery. Cream silk ribbon strings at front corners.
