Summary

Baluster-shaped cream jug tapering to narrow neck with everted shaped rim and narrow projecting lip. Handle broken, replaced with plain metal strap handle attached to pinched and flattened lower terminal of original. Fine two-part slip-cast body with shaped base in the form of two goats, positioned head to tail with legs tucked in at their sides. Relief decoration to upper body of scrolling leafy stems, picked out in daubs of cobalt blue.
