Summary

Thrown pear-shaped cream jug tapering to tall cylindrical neck with sparrow beak lip. Three applied feet in the form of a paw surmounted by grinning mask, applied strap loop handle with pinched and flattened spur at lower terminal. Applied relief decoration around belly beneath lip of undulating and twisting vine, embellished with stamped leaves and fruits, central mask beneath lip. Flat circular cover with stamped reliefs of fruit and leaves, finial in the form of a bird with outstretched wings. White body with greenish-yellow tinge at belly to right of handle.
