Summary

White muslin embroidered. Single section folded into double at front. Back drawn into pleating, round circle, joined to straight insertion of different pattern down centre back openwork hem each side of insertion. Back embroidered in small sprigs in chain stitch. Front with openwork stem and chain stitch sprays from each side curving to centre front. Narrow bobbin edging at end of double thickness, double frill of bobbin lace (East Midlands) front and sides, single across back.
