Long narrow rectangular curved metal top, chased round edge, with long narrow slit with small rectangular hole at each end, covered by curved openwork ornament with chased design, with three fine metal chain loops with pointed metal pendants proceeding from 4 holes. The inside ends of the 2 outer chains attached underneath metal top at centre, with 1 short metal chain with pendant ball. Hinged to tortoiseshell comb curved at top and with 6 prongs.
