Summary

Public: Lozenge shaped teapot, red lead-glazed earthenware, with relief decoration of Greek key borders and pecten shells. Private: Lozenge shaped teapot, with angled tapering base on moulded spreading foot, angled shoulder and short straight neck. S-shaped hexagonal spout moulded with horizontal ribs, loop handle moulded with relief stars and moulded fan-shaped lower terminal. Sides slip-cast in relief with central pecten shell within recessed panel, surrounded by alternating borders of S-scrolls and Greek key, borders repeated across shoulder and base. Deep red body with glossy lead glaze.
