Summary

Public: Globular miniature teapot with short tapering spout and loop handle. Applied stamped relief decoration in white of musical trophy, fruit and leaves. White slip decoration to neck and spout. Domed circular cover with finial. Deep red earthenware body with glossy lead glaze. Private: Globular miniature teapot on spreading foot, with short straight neck, short tapering spout and loop handle with rat's tail lower terminal. Applied stamped relief decoration in white to either side of body, of musical trophy comprising lyre and two crossed staffs surrounded by three small reliefs of fruit and leaves. Narrow white slip-dipped borders to neck and spout rims, white slip spot to handle at thumbrest. Domed circular cover with flattened baluster finial and three stamped reliefs of leaves and fruit, white slip-coated rim and pierced hole to one side. Deep red earthenware body with glossy lead glaze.
