Summary

Public: Cylindrical miniature teapot with cannon spout, unglazed deep red stoneware, with applied stamped relief decoration on each side of an eagle amongst floral sprigs. Private: Cylindrical miniature teapot with sharp flat shoulder, tapering cylindrical cannon spout and loop handle with plain terminals. Applied stamped relief decoration to either side, of eagle with wings outstretched surmounting scroll from which emerge four flowering stems. Simple C-scroll above eagle's head, flanked by two flowerheads. Flattened circular cover of paler red body, with pierced ball finial and three applied stamped reliefs of flowers and leaves.
