Summary
Globular teapot on three paw feet, with crabstock handle and spout and slight collar at neck. Deep red earthenware body with lustrous iron black glaze, painted in overglaze enamels with pink and white rose on leafy stem to left of handle, apple and four plums on leafy stem to right of handle. Gilt scrollwork borders to neckrim and around base of spout, gilt touches to spout and feet. Flattened circular cover with gilt bird finial and gilt scrollwork borders to rim, small pierced hole to one side.
