Summary

Brown satin figured with floral sprays and border in yellowish brown. Whalebone ribs with ivory tips. Metal stretchers. Frame in 8 sections. Pagoda shape. Spring inside point at top above ribs. Screwed-on pineapple-shaped ivory ferrule. ring for holding in place when closed, missing. Top of handle, metal, rest of handle ivory, the top half incised with floral pattern, the lower half deeply carved with dragons, the 2 ivory halves hinged together under a metal band.
