Summary

Public: Two oval sweetmeat bowls, with pierced openwork border and wavy feather-edge. Plain cream coloured earthenware. Private: Oval sweetmeat bowl curving in to everted oval foot with cable border. Fluted border to lower body, surmounted by pierced diamond border (four rows of diamonds to bowl (a), two to bowl (b)) beneath wavy relief-moulded feather-edged rim. Two small acanthus handles, applied at each end beneath rim. Pale cream coloured body with clear glaze to bowl (a), yellowish glaze to bowl (b).
