Summary

Baby's nightdress. Lawn, embroidered. Round neck edged with lace. Front yoke gathered, made up of embroidered insertions. Bodice pleated at centre at top and trimmed with embroidered insertion at waist, with sash, lace-trimmed at ends, sewn to it at end. Bodice back in one section, sides gathered at CB opening fastening with buttons (missing). Armhole seams piped, long sleeves in one bias section, frill at wrist scalloped and with openwork embroidery at edge. Featherstitched loops for sash at base of side seams. Skirt in two straight sections gathered to bodice, three tucks above hem.
