Summary
Shaped oval milk jug tapering to foot, with waisted neck and broad projecting lip. Sharp angled handle with three scrolling spurs and outer spur at lower terminal. Body relief-moulded with two parallel beaded borders beneath shoulder, interrupted by four beaded shield panels, surmounting graduating panels of vertical flutes and beading around lower body. Dark brown earthenware body coated in metallic silver lustre.
