Summary

Baby's petticoat. White cotton, bodice of coarser cotton than skirt. Bodice in one section, opened down CB, fastening with drawstring at neck and waist, linen button and buttonhole in between. Top edge straight, shaped for arms and with tape shoulder straps. Skirt in four sections, gathered to bodice, tucks above hem, vandyked trimming at edge of hem. See also ROBE 1959.79, worn by the same baby.
