Summary

Child's stays. White ribbed cotton, top and bottom edges bound with white tape in herringbone weave. Front in one section, back in two shaped sections each side of opening, boned at edges. Top edge curving down at sides for arms, lower edge shaped for pointed waist back and front. Back fastening with three gilt metal buckles, and bound tongues each with three metal eyelet holes.
