Summary

Child's dress. Cream woollen canvas embroidered, over cream cotton satin. High round neck with narrow band. CF bodice section gathered and forming a loose pouch over fitting lining, and fastening to right front with hook and loop at neck and concealed fastening below of four linen buttons and buttonholes, and caught with a stitch at waist. Side front sections extending to side back, and extending a little below waist to imitate jacket. CB in two sections to waist. Gathered frill at neck forming turn-down collar at side and back neck. Long sleeves in two shaped sections. Skirt, over lining attached only at waist, pleated to tape band, attached to bodice waist at back seams only. Collar, side sections of bodice, collar, wrists and hem trimmed with embroidery, in pink and red silk worked in cross stitch. Collar and sleeves trimmed with fawn lace.
