Summary

Very fine white linen trimmed with bobbin lace (Mechlin). Drawstring at lower edge tying to centre back. Tapering lappets. altered from a previous 18th century style. The original frill and trimmings may have been removed, the back panel rearranged and the lappet ends shortened.
