Summary

White net, with stiffened net band edged with pink velvet ribbon across front, narrow stiffened bow at back, beneath pleated frill. Black patterned net covering crown to frill at back and shaped to point at back, edged with 2 separated frills of silk lace, headed by pink velvet ribbon, pink velvet ribbon with centre rosette across frill. 3 frills of lace across front of cap. Top 1 of lace similar to back frills and also headed with pink velvet ribbon, the 2 lower of plain net with decorative edging only, crossed by loops of pink velvet ribbon frills. 3 small bunches of white cotton flowers (possibly lilac) each side lilac silk ribbons.
