Summary

Child's dark green wool suit. Jacket: body lined with black cotton satin, sleeves lined with blue and white striped cotton. Round turndown collar. Body in three straight sections seamed at side baacks, left front crossing over right front to fasten at side with one snap (concealed under collar), and four large dark green buttons, crescent shaped breast pocket, opening still sewn up. 5cm wide belt slotting through two carriers at side seams, left end with loop and button fastening to body with one snap, right end with buttonhole passing through loop. Sleeves each in one section with stitched down box pleat at outer wrist and 5cm vent at inside wrist, set on to striaght buttoned cuff 3.5 cm wide. Inside of top fronts quilted, three buttons round inside neck edge. Label at inside hem stamped with measurements, pattern number etc. Separate detachable collar, white cotto pique, shaped as jacket collar and attaching to jacket by three buttonholes round neck band. Trousers: lined with white cotton. Waistline descending to slightly point at centre front and cut away in shallow U-shape at CB, four buttons at front and two at back for braces. Legs each in two pieces seamed down outer and inner leg and round crotch with 16.5cm opening at CF closed four buttons under placket. Pocket opening in each side seam, three small buttons at outside edge of leg bottom. Label at back hip stamped as jacket.
