Summary
A street scene depicting a crowd gathered round a man lying unconscious in the centre foreground. A distressed woman kneels beside him to the left with one hand raised in exclamation to crowd of onlookers standing to either side, including two young boys in the right foreground. A discarded ladder lies on the ground in the bottom right corner, and there is a glimpse of a brightly lit street in the centre background.
