Summary

Plum coloured cotton and red, blue and yellow silk woven in leaf pattern. Lined with plum coloured silk and quilted. Neck and arm opening at each side edged with ruched silk. Fastning down front, ribbon tie at neck. Ribbon band inside waist. Worn by Miss Beatrice Birley, daughter of Herbert Birley, Manchester b.1860.
