Summary

Boy's suit. Blue cloth 1) Jacket: lined with blue twilled cotton, sleeves lined with white striped twilled cotton. Fronts each in one section fastening with hook and eye at round neck. Pocket each side at waist. Back in one section, long fitting sleeves. Woven label at neck "MACBETH/ KING ST / MANCHESTER"/ . 2) Trousers: lined with white twilled cotton, waist shaped for braces at back. Metal buttons at side of centre, stamped with "MACBETH'S / KING ST". Two more buttons each side of CF, one at CF opening with three fastenings of concealed buttons. Seamed down CB and legs. Pocket (whtie twilled cotton) at each side. 3) Vests (x 2): cream silk, lined with white cotton satin, round neck, pleated at centre of lower edge and pleated frill in CF seam. Open down cetnre, one vest fastening with pearl buttons and buttonholes, the other fastening with five. 4) Collar: Curved strip of cream silk bobbin lace (Maltese), scalloped at edge.
