Summary
Boy's sailor suit. White cotton. 1) Blouse: V neck, concealed buttons at front, sailor collar and pocket to left. Back in one section, elasticated waist. Long sleeves in one section with buttons at wrist. Woven label at neck: "GATH & CHAVES LTD". 2) Collar: dark blue cotton twill lined with white cotton, edged with three rows of white braid; buttoning over collar of blouse. 3) Cuffs; matching collar; fastening with button and buttonhole and buttonholes for attaching to sleeve button. 4) Vest; twill, high round neck, two sections tapering waist fastening with buttons on left shoulder. Tape ties at waist. 5) trousers; twill; legs in two sections, seamed at CF and CB. Straight waistband, fastening at front with buttons. Buttons for braces, back sections flared below knee. 6) Knickers; legs in two sections, seamed concealed fastening with buttons at CF, pocket, buttons for braces. 7) Scarf; Black twilled silk triangle with button on one corner fastening to loop on other.
